With over 19 years in the hospitality industry, Chef Julio Montano has built a dynamic culinary career rooted in hard work, creativity, and a deep love for food. A graduate of the Oregon Culinary Institute, Julio began his journey with a solid foundation in kitchen fundamentals, sharpening his skills through hands-on experience and real-world pressure.
Throughout his career, Julio has had the honor of working under several Culinary Institute of America-trained chefs. Their mentorship instilled in him a refined approach to technique and a deeper understanding of the craft. Chef Julio has applied those lessons across a wide range of professional settings—from bustling restaurant kitchens to catering.
Among his proudest achievements is the opportunity to cook for the legendary Chef Gordon Ramsay, a moment that reflects Julio’s confidence, composure, and culinary talent. No matter the environment or challenge, his philosophy remains consistent: bring your best to the table—every single time.
